TV - FM Card

One of the hardest things about this is the tv - fm card. It identifies itself as:
lspci (with no pci.ids file)

0000:00:0e.0 Class 0480: 1131:7133 (rev 10)
        Subsystem: 1043:0210
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 17
        Memory at e3800000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2

lspci (with pci.ids file)

0000:00:0e.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA713X Audio+video broadcast decoder (rev 10)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.: Unknown device 0210

looking into the pci.ids files shows the followig known cards. However they have different subsystems.

1131 Philips Semiconductors
...
	7133 SAA713X Audio+video broadcast decoder
		5168 0138 LifeView FlyVideo 3000
5168 0212 LifeView FlyTV Platinum mini
		5168 0502 LifeView FlyDVB-T Duo CardBus

This card comes with multiple tuners: a PAL tuner and a NTSC tuner. There are pictures here:
http://www.bttv-gallery.de/ The tuner names from that site are:

  • LG INNOTEK TALN H250T 308B1406 NTSC
  • LG INNOTEK TALN S200T 308B2306 SECAM

this is the closest thing on the ASUS site: http://usa.asus.com/products/vga/tvfm/overview.htm However this is not a mini-pci card. This card does have drivers, and maybe the mini-pci card is similar.

However I would guess it is hard work to make a mini-pci board. so perhaps they are using a slightly modified
flytv platinum mini. Because the second part of the subsytem number is almost the same 212 and 210.

I looked at the inf files that came with the windows drivers and found that the name of this card is "MiniPCI TV Card". In this file the same subsystem: 1043:0210 is matched with 1131:7130, 1131:7133, 1131:7134 all of those cards are labeled "MiniPCI TV Card"

Based on that file it uses the same settings as:
1131:7133 - 5169:0136
1131:7133 - 5169:0138
